Cougars rebound with win over Cotter

The Zumbrota-Mazeppa volleyball team bounced back after its loss to Stewartville with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-14 victory over Cotter Tuesday in Winona.
Cougars senior Ashley Hinsch had 10 assists, 11 digs, four ace serves and four ace blocks in quick victory.
Senior Megan Nelson added 10 assists and senior Colleen Owen had a team-high 16 digs for Zumbrota-Mazeppa (7-4, 4-2 HVL) in the victory.
Senior Lauren Huneke led the Cougars with seven kills and Hinsch added six.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa faces Pine Island Thursday in Pine Island.
