The Ellsworth girls golf team finished fourth Tuesday at a Middle Border Conference meet in Prescott, Wis.
The Panthers shot 211 as a team, with Chloe Spriggle leading the team with a 48.
“I thought it was a good match for us,” Ellsworth coach Kit Feuerhelm said. “We scored better today than last week. We’re going in the right direction coming into conference and regionals in the upcoming weeks.”
Osceola won the meet with a 170, New Richmond placed second at 183 and St. Croix Central finished in third with a 198.
Aubrey Langer shot a 51 for Ellsworth and Hanna Hines finished with a 55. Karissa Seibel and Jilliane Paquet each shot 57.
The Panthers compete again Thursday at Somerset before hosting the Middle Border Conference tournament Monday.
