Cougars handle La Crescent with ease

Zumbrota-Mazeppa rolled to its second conference victory Thursday with a 25-19, 25-2, 25-7 win over La Crescent in La Crescent.
Senior Ashley Hinsch led the Cougars (6-2, 2-0 HVL) with seven kills and added 10 assists.
Senior Laura Huneke finished with six kills, senior Megan Nelson had nine assists while senior Colleen Owen led with 13 digs.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa finished with 13 aces, 27 assists, 30 kills and 40 digs as a team.
The Cougars face Triton Monday in Zumbrota.
