The Tigers (2-3, 1-1 HVL) picked up their second consecutive victory and got three goals from junior Brandyn Oliver. Oliver scored four times in a 5-1 victory over Plainview-Elgin-Millville Sept. 1 in Lake City.
Tigers junior Andrew Schreck, junior Jack Falvey, junior Nick Ziebell, sophomore Elijah Kroll and sophomore Nick Sievers all had one goal each in the rout.
“The team is starting to bond a little bit together and our defense has improved,” Lake City head coach Paul Oliver said.
The Tigers tallied 31 shots on goal and held the Ramblers to 15 for the game.
Kyle Kaufman made 15 saves for Lake City, which plays Byron next Tuesday in Byron.
