Janssen-Handwerk wedding

Maggie Janssen and Tom Handwerk, both of Red Wing, were married July 9, 2011, at Mississippi National Golf Links with Marty Kelly officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Jean Fairbanks of Red Wing and Gerard Janssen of Sibley, Iowa. The groom is the son of Neil and Susan Handwerk of Woodbury.

Matron of Honor was Lindsay Engberg, sister of the bride of Red Wing, and bridesmaids were Patti Evenson, cousin of the bride, of Red Wing; Liz Handwerk, sister of the groom of San Diego, Calif.; and Amber Riegelman of Red Wing.

Best man was Omar Maklad of Hudson. Groomsmen were Tor Evenson of Red Wing, Keegan Quinn of Bellechester and Tim Kurt, brother-in-law of the groom of San Diego.

The flower girls were Isabell and Grace Handwerk, daughters of the groom.

She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development and is employed with Summit Square Apartments in Rochester as a community manager.

He is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in law enforcement and is an officer with the St. Paul Police Department.

They live in Red Wing.
