Cougars cruise past St. Charles

The Zumbrota-Mazeppa volleyball team made quick work of St. Charles Tuesday in its opening game of the season in Zumbrota with a 25-14, 25-15, 25-22 victory.
Junior Lauren Holm led the Cougars with 12 kills and senior Ashley Hinsch finished with eight kills. Hinsch also added 12 assists.
Z-M senior Colleen Owen led the team with 13 digs and senior Megan Nelson led the team with 15 assists.
The Cougars face Rochester Mayo Thursday in Zumbrota.
