New Beginnings will hold a sale

New Beginnings Family Services will hold its annual garage sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday Aug. 20 at First Covenant Church, 2302 Twin Bluff Rd., Red Wing.

With the exception of a few specially priced items, merchandise will not have a price tag, but instead be offered for a donation to New Beginnings Family Services.

The pregnancy resource center needs donations of items in good condition, with the exception of appliances, TVs, computers, exercise equipment and large furniture.

Anyone wishing to donate items prior to the day of the sale should drop off their items from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

NBFS is a 501c3 non-profit, interdenominational Christian, life-affirming ministry that nurtures a Christ-like view of human life & families through hope, help and life-affirming choices to women, men and teens in our community. All of their services are free, confidential and respectful to all clients, regardless of income level and they receive no government funding.
