Moxie Mamas holding contest, silent auction

The Moxie Mamas will hold a karaoke contest plus silent auction and raffle Saturday to raise money for the 2011 Susan G. Komen Twin Cities 3-Day for the Cure. Also known as Den Anderson-Lexvold and Leah Nesbitt-Miller, the local Moxie Mamas will walk in the cancer fundraiser Aug. 19-21.

The karaoke contest will run 8 p.m. to midnight at Mike's Bay Town, W6454 Highway 35, Bay City.
