Serpents pitcher Matt Sandstrom and Andrew Roble combined to strike out 15 Bombers as Lake City won at home Tuesday.
Sandstrom pitched the first seven innings to get the win, striking out nine and walking two. He allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits.
All six outs Roble recorded came via strikeout. He earned the save.
Roble, Chris Sill and Brett Gwaltney all had two hits for Lake City. Sill homered and drove in a pair. Gwaltney registered a double and two runs driven in.
