Golfers from the Jewel compete at team championship

Peggy Gazzola and Patrick Gillis of the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City tied for 44th out of 46 entrants at the 21st Minnesota Golf Association Mixed Amateur Team Championship.

They finished with a 22-over-par 164 (81-83) at the event, which was held on June 27-28.

The mixed amateur team championship was played at Fox Hollow Golf Club in St. Michael, Minn.
