Pearson-Mitchell wedding

Heidi Pearson and Matthew Mitchell were married June 18, 2011, at Vasa Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kristi Mitchell officiating.

She is the daughter of David and Nancy Pearson of Red Wing. He is the son of Sue Mitchell of Two Harbors, Minn., and Cameron Mitchell of Winona, Minn.

Maid of honor was Sara Pearson of Red Wing, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel NaSal of Red Wing, Sara Gogerty of Rochester, Melissa Wassink of Chatfield, Minn., and Emily Morris of Fairmont, Minn.

Best man was Jesse Ellinghuysen of Eyota, Minn. Groomsmen were Ben Mitchell of Seattle, Wash., brother of the groom; Levi Mitchell of Two Harbors, brother of the groom; Travis Martinson of Winona and Shawn Fernkes of Pennock, Minn. Ushers were Bruce Pearson of Red Wing, brother of the bride; Michael Christie of Hibbing, Minn.; and Keegan Hakala of Rochester.

She graduated from Winona State University in 2010 with a degree in elementary education with early childhood and special education. She works for the Red Wing School District.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2011 with a degree in conservation. He works for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in St. Paul.

They live in Red Wing.
