Fire destroys shed in Welch Township

A fire destroyed a shed in Welch Township late Friday night, the Red Wing Fire Department reported.

Fire crews responded to 6063 Mt. Carmel Road at about 11 p.m. The fire was extinguished in about an hour, but a motor home, car, boat and ATV, as well as the shed, were destroyed. A nearby house was unharmed.

Miesville Fire Department assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
