Hiawatha Valley Amateur Radio Club will join field day

The Hiawatha Valley Amateur Radio Club will participate Saturday in the National Field Day for Amateur Radio. Local members will operate from noon to 6 p.m. at Memorial Park.

They have contact with other ham radio operators set up in unusual places throughout the country as they display their emergency communications capabilities.
