Red Wing’s Maggie Jonas, Abbey Schnaith, Emily Stegora and Lauren Boldt were named Academic All-State by the Minnesota State Track & Field Coaches Association.

To be eligible an athlete needed at least a 3.6 grade-point average. She also needed to be all-conference, a state qualifier or a member of the Raceberry JaM honor roll.

The Red Wing girls team was named Academic All-State at the Silver level by the coaches association. To determine award recipients, the top-10 GPAs belonging to members of the section team were averaged together. If the average was 3.75 or greater the team qualified for the Gold level. If the average was between 3.50 and 3.749 the squad qualified for the Silver level.
