Plum City’s Tony Garner pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out seven and allowing three hits in Sunday’s home win. He walked two batters.

Hudson’s Paul Johnson was almost as good. He struck out nine and walked one over eight innings. The Blues managed just three hits off Johnson, but one of them was Cory Breidung’s single in the seventh that drove in Chris Biederman.

The Blues improved to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the St. Croix Valley League.
