Cannon Falls fell Saturday night at John Burch Park to Elko in the Bears' tournament. The game was part of the first round of the consolation bracket.
Dan Venn took the loss for the Bears, giving up seven earned runs.
Elko scored four and three runs in the first and third innings, respectively, and the Bears waited too long to make a comeback. Cannon Falls scored four runs in the eighth.
Cory Hedeen led the Bears offensively, racking up four hits in five at-bats.
Cannon Falls hosts the Miesville Mudhens Wednesday night for a 7:30 p.m. game.
