As graduation approaches, Lake City senior Hannah Forcelle is looking forward to beginning a new chapter in life.

"Hannah is a great student with a very strong academic drive," said Josh Boraas, Lake City social studies teacher. "Her personality allows her to fit into a variety of social settings and learn from those around her."

According to senior high guidance counselor Lynette Matzke, there's no doubt Forcelle is committed to her academic studies - she has taken several advanced placement and college-level courses - but her heart seems to be in music.

Forcelle, who plays clarinet, first joined band in fifth grade. She is now first chair in concert band, and also participates in pep band and marching band.
