Thomas R. Minnick, age 49, of Belle Plaine and Annandale, formerly of Red Wing, died June 2 at Abbott-NW Hospital, Minneapolis.

Born Dec. 22, 1961, to David and Sally Carr Minnick, he attended Red Wing High School and St. Cloud State University. Tom was assistant vice president of operations at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Minneapolis, drove stock cars for many years, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Tom is survived by wife, Gail Eischens-Minnick, daughter, Taylor, and son, Cole, all of Belle Plaine; father, David (and Connie) of Red Wing; brother, Tony (and Randi) of Minneapolis; stepbrothers, Darren (and Jennie) Asleson of Farmington and Keith Asleson of Goodhue; parents-in-law, Leonard and Verna Eischens of Belle Plaine; brother-in-law William McKinley of Red Wing.

He was preceded in death by mother and sister, Jenny McKinley.

Visitation 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5, service 7:30 p.m., all at Bruzek Funeral Home, New Prague, 952-758-4949. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing.
