Pepin home explodes

A house located at N3202 Plum Valley Road, Pepin, exploded at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Durand Fire Department.

Arthur Gannett and Barbara Anderson own the house, and nobody was home at the time of the explosion.

The cause of the fire and explosion are unknown and are being investigated.
