Ethan Kuehn did much of the damage for the Rockets as they won at home Thursday. He belted a pair of home runs and finished 3-for-3 with three RBI. Kuehn also struck out seven over the first four innings to record the win.

The Rockets, who are ranked No. 5 in Class A, scored two runs in the first and four more in the second.

"Sometimes you play well and just get beat," Bombers coach Bucky Lindow said in an email. "That is what happened today. Both teams played solid D. They just outhit us."

Neither team committed an error. Randolph finished with a 12-9 edge in hits.

Tyler Boyle-Hoban suffered the loss. He pitched all six innings, struck out three and walked none.

Braxton Lindow, Cedric Dicke, Trevor Sullivan and Hunter Blakeslee each collected two hits for the Bombers (12-8) in their final regular-season game.

Cannon Falls received the No. 2 seed in the Section 1AA West tournament and is back in action Tuesday when it plays host to No. 7 GMLOK.
