The host Buffaloes scored four run on four hits in the fifth inning en route to Monday's win.
Pepin scored two runs in the first inning as Collin Welter and Adam Baader each drove in a run; however, the Lakers failed to score again and finished with just five hits.
Cole Carroll was the only Pepin player to finish with multiple hits as he went 2-for-3.
The Lakers (5-7 Dunn-St. Croix Conference, 5-10 overall) are back in action Tuesday at Plum City.
