Cannon Falls shot a 408 Monday at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester to finish behind Kasson-Mantorville (338) and host Stewartville (354).

"The course was the winner today," Cannon Falls coach Lee Gisvold said. "We had our good holes, but then we'd run into a tough hole and make a double digit."

Ben Magalis shot a team-best 98 at the Hiawatha Valley League triangular. Kyle Peters and Matt Moskal each followed with a 100. Ed McElmury's 110 counted toward the team total as well. Jackson Bahr (118) and Colin Miland also played for the Bombers.

"For us, the focus really isn't at a point where we are looking at winning," Gisvold said. "It's about getting better every day."
