The Cobras swept a home doubleheader behind the stellar play of Logan Spitzack.
In the first game Tuesday, which was a five-inning contest, Spitzack was a single away from hitting for the cycle. He drove in four runs and finished 3-for-4. The senior also struck out eight and didn't walk a batter in a complete-game win.
Spitzack went 2-for-3 and drove in another run in the nightcap.
Goodhue pitchers struggled to find the strike zone in the second game. The Wildcats walked 15 batters. Starter Dustin Thomforde walked nine batters in 2 1/3 innings and suffered the loss.
"It was a very rough night for us," Goodhue coach Eric Schofield said. "Triton played two excellent games."
