In the nightcap of a doubleheader, Goodhue was shut out by visiting Randolph.

Wildcats coach Chris Irvin had planned on having Anne Lodermeier pitch one game and Katie Charbonneau pitch the other. However, Irvin learned Friday morning that Lodermeier, Goodhue's top pitcher, had left school due to an illness.

"That kind of changes your plans for the evening," Irvin said.

Charbonneau pitched both games for the Wildcats.

The Rockets jumped all over Goodhue by scoring four runs in the first and three in the second. Goodhue (1-9 overall, 1-8 Hiawatha Valley League) travels to Southland for a nonconference tilt Monday.
