Swimmers compete at state
Eight members of the Red Wing Swim Club — TJ McBryde, Hunter Connelly, Tanner Alms, Ethan Myers, Connor O’Keefe, Ingrid Olson, Ethan Sellers and Ashley Thompson — participated in the state meet.

Alms finished in the top 10 in the 50-, 200-, 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle in a 13-and-over meet on March 17-20.
Sellers placed seventh in the 200 breaststroke.
Connelly placed fourth in the 50 backstroke and the 110 backstroke. Also, he took fifth in the 200 backstroke. Connelly and McBryde were the only two Red Wing qualifiers that participated in the 12-and-under meet on March 11-13.
