Red Wing athletes honored by Missota Conference

Twenty Red Wing athletes were named either all-conference or honorable mention during the winter sports season in the Missota Conference. The list of recipients follows.

Gymnastics

Honorable mention: Eighth-grader Maria Furlong.

Boys swimming and diving

All-conference: Freshman Tanner Alms, senior Travis Carlson, junior Andrew Berg and junior Connor O'Keefe. Honorable mention: Sophomore Adam Sienczak and freshman Ethan Myers.

Boys hockey

All-conference: Senior goalie Sam Amendolar, junior forward Mike Stegora. Honorable mention: Junior defensemen Jack Strusz, junior forward Marcus Noesen.

Girls hockey

All-conference: Freshman forward Nicole Schammel and sophomore defenseman Paige Haley. Honorable mention: Junior defenseman Elle Anderson and junior goalie Lisa Nibbe.

Girls basketball

All-conference: Senior guard Jen Ulveling and sophomore guard Tesha Buck. Honorable mention: Senior forward Danielle Brooks.

Boys basketball

All-conference: Senior center Isaac Sevlie. Honorable mention: Junior guard Joel Newman.
