Mayor Dennis Egan issued a proclamation dubbing March 14, 2011, "Red Wing Winger Girls Hockey Day" in Red Wing.
The girls won the Section 1A Championship on Feb. 18 and took
fifth place in the state tournament. Much of the team was present at
Monday's meeting to receive a copy of the proclamation and congratulations from the mayor.
