Lake City woman injured in rollover

A Lake City woman was injured in a rollover on County Road E on Wednesday morning.

Allison Murray, a 19-year-old University of Wisconsin-River Falls student, was driving on County Road E and "failed to negotiate the curve" just south of Highway 10, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

The vehicle rolled several times before landing on the passenger side in a ditch, according to the report.

Murray was taken to a hospital by helicopter with undetermined injuries.

Prescott Fire Department, Prescott Ambulance Service, Ellsworth paramedics and Lifelink Helicopter assisted Pierce County deputies.

The incident is under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
