Weddings: Zahorsky-Nelson

Jacquelyn Fay Zahorsky and Adam Ross Nelson were married Nov. 13, 2010, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Welch with Pastor Bob Albing officiating.

She is the daughter of Jim and Mary Zahorsky of Chisholm, Minn. He is the son of Ross and Jane Nelson of Welch.

Maid of honor was Erin Kelly of Fridley, Minn., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy McKenzie of Duluth, Minn.; Michele Nelson of Red Wing, sister of the groom; Kellie Dahling of Red Wing, sister of the groom, Danielle Nelson, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Marissa Kelly of Red Wing, cousin of the groom. Flowergirl was Kiley Kearney of White Bear Lake, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Mike Anderson of Minneapolis. Groomsmen were Luke Knadle of Apple Valley, Minn.; Andrew Nemcek Zahorsky of Welch, brother of the bride; Nate Raway of Hastings; Patrick O'Neil of Andover, Minn., cousin of the bride. Junior groomsmen were Jack and Sam Kelly of Red Wing, cousins of the groom. Ringbearer was Marcus Kelly of Red Wing, cousin of the groom.

She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in communication, journalism and international studies. She attends Winona State University and is working toward a business administration degree. She works at Hastings Gymnastics Club and Financial Marketing Solutions in Red Wing.

He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in social studies and Hamline University in 2009 with master's degree in education. He attends Saint Mary's University and is working toward an Ed.S. in educational administration. He works at Red Wing High School.
