2 area residents to compete in MMA event at Treasure Island

Prairie Island native Drew Wells and Lake City's Bruce Johnson will be participating in a Mixed Martial Arts event Feb. 12 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino.

Wells, a featherweight, will take on Justin Morrison from Adel, Iowa. Johnson, who lost to Morrison in October, will fight Pat Schilling of Eagan, Minn.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the first bout starts one hour later.
