Red Wing Family YMCA offers programs for the community:
After-school sports
The sports for February are bowling at Nybo’s on Tuesdays and dodgeball at the Y on Thursdays. There is an additional cost for bowling. After-school sports program is open to all fifth-, sixth- and seventh-graders.
Registration and payment is required. The cost per sport is $20 per child, free for Y members.
Youth floor hockey
Registration has begun for Mighty Mite and grads 2-6 floor hockey. Play will begin March 5. Mighty Mites is for boys and girls in kindergarten and first grade; the cost is $25, free for Y member. Floor hockey for grades 2-6 2nd is open to all boys and girls and the cost is $30, free for Y members.
Learn Zumba
JeriLyn Coplan will lead “I Want to Learn Zumba” 7 p.m. Jan. 27. This class is open to everyone age 50 and older; YMCA membership is not required. The cost is $10; free for Y members.
Teen dance
A teen Dance will be held 8 to 10 p.m. Friday. It is open to all boys and girls in grades 5-7. A school ID is required.
The cost is $5.
