Association to hear state-of-the-arts address

The Red Wing Arts Association will hold its annual meeting Thursday in the Indigo Room, 325 Main St. , Sue Gens executive director of the Minnesota State Arts Board, will speak on "The State of Arts in Minnesota in 2011" and will answer questions from the audience.
A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7. The association also will elect new board members.
The meeting is for members, but others who wish to attend should call the association, 651-388-7569.
