January is National Mentoring Month, a time when nation spotlights the importance of mentors and the need for children to have a caring adult in their lives.
January is National Mentoring Month, a time when nation spotlights the importance of mentors and the need for children to have a caring adult in their lives.
The YMCA and the Republican Eagle invite people submit entries for the “My Role Model” writing contest. Some entries will be selected to be printed in R-E and one author will receive a $25 gift card.
Items must be typed, 350 to 700 words and submitted electronically to JWheeler@redwingymca.org by 6 p.m. Friday.
