Youth sports: Red Wing finishes in sixth place

The Red Wing sixth-grade girls basketball team took third place in a 32-team invitational Dec. 17-19 in Eau Claire, Wis. Red Wing was seeded 10th and went 6-1 in the tournament. The team is as follows: (front row, left to right) Amy Jeranek, Elise Leise, Liz Illg, Belen Benway and Morgan Zebro.
