School notes: St. Joseph’s school
Happenings at St. Joseph’s school the week of Dec. 20:
Grade 1
This week the first-graders worked on writing Christmas letters to their families in writer’s workshop and in Spanish class.
Grade 2
This week the second-graders wrapped up their social studies unit on geography by presenting their projects made at home. They also practiced adding and regrouping three digit numbers.
Grades 3, 4
Mrs. Runquist’s class wrapped up a unit on verbs. They can identify verbs in sentences, helping verbs, and all the different tenses of verbs. They took a unit test this week.
