Letter: Officials must support wind ordinance as is

To the Editor:

I thank Commissioner Ron Allen for his letter to the paper regarding the conduct of some our county commissioners in light of the current controversial wind issue.

Residents of this county deserve a full accounting of how our elected officials are handling this situation. I have chosen to pass my concerns along to our county attorney.

These county officials were elected by majority vote, same as this wind ordinance they passed. As a county resident I expect full support of the ordinance as passed.

Back peddling and undermining it is unacceptable.

As elected representatives of the county, it is your duty as commissioners to support this ordinance and the will of the people.

I expect our county attorney to take a close look at the legalities of what has transpired.
