What are the most important issues in your race, and how do you plan to address them?
We must go through the budget, item by item, to determine which spending is wasteful and which cuts will have a significant impact on our community. I am confident we can achieve a high level of fiscal responsibility by making smart decisions.
I’m not a one-issue candidate. I will continue to fight for strong communities, jobs that pay a living wage, quality education, tax fairness, school funding reform and fiscal responsibility.
I will continue to put the interests of the people of the 91st District before the interests of party leaders and Madison-based political groups.
How is your experience — or lack of experience — in the public and private sectors a plus or minus for the job?
My experience in law enforcement, as a legislator and as a former employee in the private and public sectors make me uniquely qualified to be re-elected.
I have focused on the issues that matter to my constituents, and I will continue to work hard for them.
The needs of small businesses have not been adequately addressed by either party. I feel I am best positioned to address their concerns and focus on solutions.
