Letter: Mike Schultz pledges to continue working for citizens

To the Editor:

These past four years that I have served Ward 3 and city of Red Wing as a city councilor. It has been rewarding and exciting as new opportunities have abounded.

The economy has changed how we have had to approach every city issue. Earlier this year I stated that everything the city provides for its citizens is on the table. Now that has caused many citizens to reconsider priority services. Not everyone agrees but everyone is passionate about those services they believe are the priorities.

I will continue to listen closely and dialogue with citizens on all issues. Their input has been most valuable in these changing times! I continue to be passionate about the city and all it has to offer.

Finally I ask that you cast your vote on Nov. 2. When you cast that vote you are honoring those that have gone before us, working with those that are here now and preparing the way for future generations. Many have fought to give us this right and to keep it!
