Letter: Dan Johnson asks for Ward 4 citizens' support
As I have knocked on doors and listened during the course of my campaign, I learned how much families in Red Wing are concerned about their financial futureBy: Dan Johnson, Red Wing, The Republican Eagle
To the Editor:
As I have knocked on doors and listened during the course of my campaign, I learned how much families in Red Wing are concerned about their financial future, as well as many other issues. I want voters to know that I got your message about the importance of keeping taxes low and spending your money sensibly.
I know how much our residents value leaving our natural resources untouched for future generations. When the inevitable clash of big-money interests versus the will of the people comes, I will stand with the people.
I understand that you want someone to help with everyday issues, while keeping a focus on building a bright future. A call or e-mail to me will always get you a response.
I will constantly strive to make sure my decisions on the City Council are a reflection of your views. I am committed to collecting the facts, and considering a variety of opinions and options before making decisions. Rest assured that with me as your council representative, you will continue to have a voice in the future of Red Wing
My wife, Wanda, and I both have deep ties to Ward 4. I would be honored to serve as your representative on the Red Wing City Council.
Dan Johnson
