Letter: Hove is an advocate for citizens

The city faces unprecedented fiscal challenges. It is imperative that our elected representatives have a seasoned perspective and the experience to make sound decisions. For the past eight years, Dean Hove has proven himself to be a genuine advocate for Red Wing and its citizens.

Red Wing has priceless, irreplaceable assets. As evident in other towns along the Mississippi, it’s tempting for local governments to sell off these assets for short-term gain, only to realize, in time, a profound long-term loss.

Dean Hove has shown that as he scrutinizes each issue, he considers the effect policies will have over the long run. This very evolved approach benefits local business, future business, and each family who resides here.
