Letter: Hove provides mature judgment

To the Editor:

I am supporting Dean Hove for the Wards 1 & 2 City Council seat again this year. Hove and I have worked together on issues that arise at the Pepin Woods Community for almost six years now. I have always found Dean to be exceptionally outgoing and helpful.

I admire his ability to resolve conflicts and find solutions. Hove keeps an open mind and listens. He has helped improve communications between park management and the city and between residents.

I have always felt comfortable contacting Dean on issues large and small. When I call Dean, things get done. Dean always goes the extra mile and follows up with me.

I understand how much John Sachen's supporters want him to win, but there will be time for Sachen in the future, after he has learned more. We need Hove's skills and mature judgment right now.
