Pine Island event will aid flood victims
A Pine Island Flood Relief Benefit is planned from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Island Sports Bar/Pool ‘n’ Pins.
A Pine Island Flood Relief Benefit is planned from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Island Sports Bar/Pool ‘n’ Pins.
A rib or chicken dinner will be served and there’ll be a silent auction all evening. The band Oliver Twist will play at 4:30 p.m., and Lost Facaulties at 8:30 p.m. An oral auction will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults in advance, $12 at the door; $5 and $7 for kids 10 and under. They are available at Island Sports Bar or Pine Island Bank, the other sponsor. Proceeds will go to local families.
