Letter: Vote McNurlin for sheriff

To the Editor:
There are many reasons I am going to vote for Scott McNurlin for sheriff.
A recent writer pointed out that Scott does not need “on the job training” for the sheriff’s position. I agree. He has held many department positions in his 28-year career.
I have heard Scott speak about his job and his aspiration to become sheriff. He is passionate about his career and passionate about serving Goodhue County. He has proven his ability to meet the public as a law enforcement professional.
Vote for Scott McNurlin for sheriff on Nov. 2.
