Letter: McNurlin already leads

To the Editor:

I’m supporting Scott McNurlin for sheriff because I believe he is the best man for the job.

When Scott set out on a career path years ago he didn’t choose the police department, he choose the sheriff department, and did everything right, worked hard to get the education and tools necessary to run a department and handle a big budget.

As a second in command Scott has already been in a leadership position.

I have been privileged to know Scott and his family for many years and I know Scott will be a great sheriff.

I hope we can continue on having a clean sheriff campaign and leave the nasty stuff to the politicians.
