Letter: Howe has know-how

To the Editor:

After having the opportunity to meet and talk with both candidates for Senate District 28, we need John Howe as our senator. He has the knowledge and experience of operating a business and creating jobs.

Additionally, he has experience in local government and has had to balance a budget as mayor of Red Wing. He is hard working, and, as a family man, he understands that the government needs to live within its means just as families must.

Joe Fricke doesn’t know the challenges of raising a family and doesn’t have any real business experience. While he acknowledges we need to cut spending, he couldn’t commit to any area that could be cut.

My vote will be for John Howe, and I hope yours will be also.
