Letter: Fricke is quality person

To the Editor:

To quote retiring District 28 Sen. Steve Murphy, “Joe Fricke is our best choice. It is time for a new generation to make their contribution to our state’s future. Joe Fricke is full of new ideas, and he has the energy and enthusiasm to carry them out.”

We would like to add to Murphy’s quote by stating that Fricke is truly a quality person. He is a person with integrity.

How do we know this? Joe and our son were roommates at St. Olaf College. It gave us inner peace to know that our son had such a good role model as a friend.

Over the years Joe has constantly impressed us with his work ethic and his ingenuity. He is a very bright person, and he can make anything work. He does it all in a very low-key manner.

As we told our son, “You may not have a lot of money, but with a friend like Joe you are very rich with friends.”

Joe Fricke is our best choice for the District 28 Senate seat.
