Fields of Terror
Halloween is looming, and with it the prospect of ghosties and ghoulies and long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night.
Maiden Rock Apple Orchard in rural Stockholm, Wis., will offer Fields of Terror on Oct. 23, including the Hellish Hayride of Horror and a walk into the Corn Maze of the Undead.
A child-friendly tour will be from 4 to 6 p.m. for kids under 12, who must be escorted by someone 12 or older; then from 7 to 10 p.m. for people 12 and up. No flashlights will be allowed at the smoke- and alcohol-free event.
