Letter: Hove sticks up for our families

To the Editor:

Dean Hove has been a highly effective, tireless, stay-in-touch representative of the people of Red Wing.

We can assess Hove’s qualifications to carry out our wishes in the future by the battles he has won for us in the past.

Hove kept our beautiful natural resources preserved.

It is all too convenient to side with the winners once the battle is done. Hove stood with us and against every other member of the City Council at the time when it was not easy.

We should hang on to the elected leaders who are willing to take on big money and special interests and stick up for our families and our future.

If you want to keep our local government in the hands of average people, vote for Dean Hove.

Hove has proven he is on our side.
