The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission announced today that it will hand down a decision on the proposed Goodhue Wind project at its Oct. 21 meeting.

The commission will either pass, alter or vote down the draft site permit for the 78 megawatt project at the meeting, scheduled at 9:30 a.m. at its headquarters in St. Paul, according to State Permit Manager Larry Hartman.

"They will make a decision that day," he said.

Both opponents and supporters of the project say they will be in attendance to witness that commission's decision.
