What's being served at local schools:

Red Wing

Oct. 4-8

Elementaries

Monday: cereal, wheat toast, mixed fruit cup or fruit juice. Lunch: pepperoni pizza wedge or Philly beef sandwich, leafy green salad, summer blend vegetables, applesauce.

Tuesday: toasted English muffin, cheese slice, pineapple tidbits or fruit juice. Lunch: baked potato with ground beef or chicken burger, broccoli with cheese sauce, Mandarin oranges, cookie.

Wednesday: cereal, wheat toast, fresh fruit or fruit juice. Lunch: fish nuggets or hamburger, rotini, baked beans, fresh fruit.

Thursday : pancakes with syrup, tropical fruit or fruit juice. Lunch: cheesy garlic bun or ham and cheese wrap, tomato soup, fresh vegetable medley, mixed fruit.

Friday: cereal, wheat toast, fresh fruit or fruit juice. Lunch: sloppy joe or grilled turkey and cheese, baked sweet potato fries, coleslaw, fresh fruit.

Twin Bluff

Middle School

Monday: popcorn chicken bowl or pizza pocket, beef nachos.

Tuesday: chili with beans or school made pizza, smoked turkey wrap or orange chicken bowl.

Wednesday: cheesy French bread, spicy chicken burger, turkey and cheese on sub bun or chicken teriyaki bowl.

Thursday: roast turkey with gravy sesame chicken bowl, turkey and ham on bagel or beef taco bar.

Friday: grilled chicken bowl, beef enchilada, submarine sandwich, whole grain spaghetti and rotini, meatballs and sauce.

St. Joseph

Monday: pizza dunkers with sauce, carrots and dip, banana, bread.

Tuesday: turkey, dressing/stuffing, peas, applesauce, bread.

Wednesday: cheeseburger, potato wedges, corn, peaches, bread.

Thursday: grilled chicken patty, scalloped potatoes, banana, bread.

Friday: ham and turkey on hoagie bun, lettuce, tomato, waffle fries, baked squash, grapes, pumpkin bars, bread.

Ellsworth

Monday: chicken pattie or cheeseburger on bun, cheesy hash browns, sweet corn, fruit snack bag, fruit choice.

Tuesday: mini corn dogs or taco wrap, Smile potatoes, sliced carrots, banana cream pie, fruit choice.
